Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is a long-term condition where the esophagus becomes inflamed due to a buildup of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell triggered by an allergic reaction. It often affects kids, but its symptoms—easily mistaken for food allergies or GERD—are hard to spot. Since young kids can't always explain what they're feeling, and symptoms can vary, EoE is often missed or misdiagnosed.
ABC’s of EoE
We wanted to teach both kids and caregivers, too,
About EoE and what it can do.
So we chose the fun route, with a poetic twist,
To help families spot what might be missed.
With storytelling and visuals bright,
We broke down the symptoms, triggers, and might,
In partnership with the Asthma and Allergy crew,
To create kid-friendly content that’s clear and true.
A rhyming dictionary was our trusty guide,
With voice talent and animators by our side,
We brought it all to life, in a way that’s fun,
So both parents and kids can know what's to come.
